Set Your Bet

Open Guardians of Luxor 4 and set your stake with the bet selector. Red Rake does not publish a min or max bet for this title, so the range you see is the one your casino has configured. Whatever you pick covers all 30 Lines on the 5x3 grid automatically.

2

Spin the 5x3 Egyptian Grid

Hit spin or set autoplay. Wins resolve across 30 fixed lines on a five-reel, three-row grid. Two features fire in the base game without any scatter gate — the Sacred Scarabs lock-in off the central reel and the Osiris wild respin — so the reels rarely go completely quiet.

3

Watch the Emeralds Light Up

A lit emerald below the reels marks a reel. Once the reels stop, a second emerald on the right may light to mark a row. The symbol where the two cross turns into an emerald, every other symbol of that same type converts with it, and those emeralds pay in any position on the played lines. A multiplier panel then opens on the left and one value is drawn: x4, x6, x8, x10, x12, x16, x25 or x50.

4

Land the Beetle on the Centre Reel

The Beetle symbol only appears on the central reel and covers all three positions. Land it in full and it splits into three sacred scarabs that lock in place and grant three free spins. Every extra scarab locks too and resets the counter back to three. The feature ends when the spins run out or every position holds a scarab, and the beetles carry Minor, Major and Grand values — Red Rake states these are fixed, not progressive.

5

Open Hathor's Wheel and the Wheel Bonus

The Mother Goddess symbol has to appear in full to launch a one-reel minigame. It can grant instant free spins, multiply your bet per line, or open Hathor's Wheel — pick a colour, and if the wheel agrees the multiplier is added and you can spin again, up to a published ceiling of x100 the total bet. Separately, three Wheel symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 open the Wheel Bonus, whose win multiplies the cost of the line that activated it.

6

Chase Anubis for the Free Spins Round

Anubis appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 and pays a win equal to the cost of the spin on its own, without needing a line. Three of them open the Free Spins Bonus Feature. Both the number of spins and the multiplier applied to every win in the round are set by the minigame that came before the trigger. Three more Anubis during the round award the same number again, capped at 50 free spins in total.

Bonus Features Explained

Want the rules in full? The Guardians of Luxor 4 bonus features page breaks down every mechanic Red Rake publishes.

Each feature plays differently. Here's what actually happens — no marketing fluff.

Emerald Symbols

A lit emerald picks a reel, a second picks a row, and the symbol where they cross turns to emerald. Every matching symbol converts with it and pays in any position on the played lines, then a multiplier from x4 up to x50 lands on the total.

Sacred Scarabs

The Beetle only shows on the central reel and fills all three positions. Land it whole and it splits into three scarabs that lock in place for three free spins — each new scarab locks and resets the count. Minor, Major and Grand values ride on the beetles, and Red Rake states they are fixed, not progressive.

Osiris Wild Respin

Osiris lands on the centre reel and expands to cover it as a wild. It stays put while the other four reels respin once.

Hathor's Wheel

The Mother Goddess symbol opens a one-reel minigame that can hand you free spins, a per-line bet multiplier, or the wheel itself. On the wheel you pick a colour; guess right and the multiplier is added and you may spin again, all the way to a x100 ceiling.

Quick Strategy Tips

Bankroll first. Red Rake publishes no volatility rating for this title, so plan around what the rules do state: free spins are capped at 50 per feature, and the Power of Horus bar needs 135 non-winning spins before it opens. A session shorter than that never sees one of the six features at all.

Know the RTP. At 95.40%, this slot sits below the 96% mark most modern slots aim at. The lean figure funds the dense feature stack. Always verify the exact percentage in the game info screen before spinning.

The minigame sets the free spins up. Because the Mother Goddess minigame decides both the spin count and the multiplier that will apply to every win in the following round, a strong result there is worth more than the wheel total it paid you. That is the one sequence worth watching for.

Know the real ceiling. Red Rake's own rules put the biggest result in a 2,000-million-spin simulation at 1,333x the bet, with an occurrence probability of one in 41,666,667. Higher numbers circulating on review sites did not come from the provider.
